Variety revealed that a reboot of the 80s crime drama Miami Vice is in the works with NBC.

The original series chronicled the adventures of two Miami-based undercover narcotic detectives James “Sonny” Crockett and Ricardo “Rico” Tubbs at the height of Miami’s drug trade boom in the 80s.

The iconic show has become well known for its distinticve aesthetix, as well as its influence on fashion and music trends of the decade.
